You shouldn't trust online IQ tests or believe that a high IQ guarantees success. My uncle has an average IQ, yet he's a successful psychiatrist who earns a six-digit annual income. Having an exceptionally high IQ means nothing unless you work hard.

To answer your question, it depends on what your current occupation is. If your IQ truly is 120, then you should be able to handle most jobs if you're diligent enough. The people above who believe that an IQ of 120 is low should get their facts straight. Though it is far from genius, it is above the IQ of the average American (it's higher than approximately 90% of the population).

I've just read that George W Bush has an IQ of 91 and he runs America (not very well, granted). Richard P Feynman scored 125 in a high-school IQ test and he has been classified as a genius, and one of the greatest physicists of modern times. If you want to know your true IQ within a standard deviation you should really take a proper IQ test.

I think these online IQ tests are intentionally making the questions easy so your IQ score appears to be high. Then once your confidence is boosted they ask for money for a more detailed analysis or for more tests or to buy whatever they are selling. It's a con, sorry.

For a more accurate test to find your IQ I suggest to get a book from the library.

You need to get out more. Don't bank on an IQ test that was taken on-line. I have know people to get higher results by marking B the whole test.

Get out more.
That's not high enough for Mensa but maybe you could start a sorta-high-IQ club. Let me know.

Also if you're doing the tests at work, yes, start looking for a better job.

I've never tested that low.
The more tests you take, you learn their patterns and may increase your score, but that doesn't make you any smarter.
Quit taking online tests & get out in the real world to build your skills so you qualify for a better job.

120 really isn't very high. But you should get a better job if you want.

If your job suits you stay with it. If you are unhappy with it find something else. Nothing worse that being in a job you do not like. It makes for long days or nights.
