Current federal minimum wage in the USA is $5.15, but will soon climb to as much as $7.75 within the next two years.

Note that your state's minimum wage will immediately override this.

Federal minimum wage is currently $5.15. Nothing has been passed to increase that, although it is somewhat likely to happen in the next session of congress.

Many states have higher minimums. If the state is higher that the federal, then the state rate takes precedence. Others here have given links to rates by state.

That VERY much depends on the state in which you live. Go to this website:

http://www.dol.gov/esa/minwage/america.htm

It shows the minimum wage for every state in the U.S.

If your state doesn't have a minimum wage, the federal minimum is $5.15 unless you're considered a tipped employee (waiter/waitress). For them it's $2.13.

Depends on the state -- the federal minimum is going up, but some states have minimum wage that is more than that. Gp to this website and see what your state is.

The U.S. federal minimum wage is currently $6.75. It is supposed to go up to $7.50 in 2007, possibly in January.

Whatever it is, it's way to much to be paying you.
