Agricultural & Mechanical. That's what it means at all the A&M schools.

The school was originally founded as the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas. Though ROTC is a big deal there, "M" does not stand for Military. Officially, "A&M" is just part of the name now, and do not stand for anything anymore, by government decree.
