go to gamer profile on the xbox 360 dash board and view games this will give you a list of all games you have played, in these you will find the list of achievements and a description on how to get each one and what score they are worth for your gamer score

You have to complete levels on the game or games that you have. Then you will get a message up on your screen saying achievement unlocked. On some 360 games you can also earn points for playing on line.You can see what you have earned by going into your gamer profile and selecting view games.
