i have a toshiba tecra 8200 laptop and i have windows media player and it says when i try to burn cd's that it doesnt detect any cd burner. i am really not good at this computer stuff and i have no idea what a cd burner is or where u get one. is it something u download or do u have to have something u plug into ur computer. please help me with this i am clueless. thank you

A cd burner is a different drive. If you do not have one already installed, you must go buy one. I would recommend having someone install it as well if you are not good with computers. You can get a cd burner from basically any store that sells electronics althought I would say it might be a better idea to go to somewhere like circuit city or best buy where they will be able to give u better advice.

It is where you put you cd in. If you getting that message sounds like you dont have a cd-rw sounds like you have a cd-rom look at it and see if it say cd-rw or RW anywhere on it where you load your cd's
