According to urban legend, this is supposed to be deadly. Have you or anyone you know actually tried it? What happened?

The other day, I saw some talk show hosts eating mentos with coke in their mouth and the coke got really fizzy and bubbly in their mouth, does that happen with pop rocks too?

Yes, but not all at once. or else you'll spew tangy coke foam from your pie hole.

I once took a whole pack of pop rocks in my mouth and my mouth got so dry that i mistakenly took a swig from my Coke and i spewed and looked liked a rabid dog.

I think u can handle swallowing them if your an expert in burping ur ABCs.

No, but I watch mythbusters on the discovery channel and they had a whole show on diet coke and mentos. The reaction it makes when you drop a mentos into diet coke. Pretty cool.

Yeah, it just gets all foamy, and it's actually really hard to keep your mouth closed since all the carbonation fills up your mouth and forces it open to release the air. It's not deadly.
