Coach Dean. He won more titles than Bob, and his style of coaching is waaay better than Bob. And, you never heard of him slapping his players, or bringing a shotgun to his practices!

Bobby Knight is better plus check your stats he has more titles 3 to 2.Plus he has not had great players like Dean.The only player to even do anything in the NBA is Thomas.Dean had everybody play for him.

I'll take Dean Smith,even though I'm a Duke fan, Smith always knew how to break his opponets,he coached in toughest conference at avery compettive time.
