My husband got me a massaging cushion(the kind you put on the couch or chair and sit on) for Christmas, because I am constantly complaining that my back hurts and I want him to massage it. I am 30 weeks pregnant, and I am worried that if I use the massager it will maybe shake around my baby too much and hurt her. I looked on the instruction manual for anything that tells me not to use it if I am pregnant, but found nothing. I desperately want to use it, but I don't want to put my unborn childs life in jeopardy and I will not use it until I know for sure. Does anyone know, or should I wait and ask my doctor next week at my checkup?

I know how you feel. I felt the same way when I was pregnant and asked my doctor before I used mine and they said it was perfectly OK. So I did nothing happened except my back feeling better. I even used it when I was in labor! Hot showers helped me too. The joys of pregnancy, you are almost there!

Ask your doc if it makes you feel better but go ahead, I have had 5 pregnancies and i have 5 healthy children, now adays people panick about so much i think the stress of it all is much more damaging, use the massager, it will make you feel good you deserve it, when you have sex you are shaking the baby more and thats safe

It should be alright but ask your Doctor to be sure. I have never heard of one harming an unborn child and believe me, if there was the slightest chance of that happening there would be warnings all over it.

It is safe for you and the baby. I have the same problem and recieved a vibrating chair and a bath bubbler that is really high with vibrations and the doctor told me it was normal and there is no risk.

I've been using one; through my entire pregnancy. (I'm on my 27th week) and everything is perfectly fine.

There is so much cushioning around the baby and it will not hurt the little one! Don't worry! Relax and enjoy!

Its OK to use. My husband got me one for Christmas too! I love it! I think it actually soothes the baby. I also have a bouncer chair for baby that vibrates. Hopefully he will enjoy his bouncer while mommy is enjoying her vibrating chair! Good Luck!

There is a slight VERY SLIGHT chance it can induce contractions. It really shouldn't though, it's about the same risk as when you have an orgasm when pregnant. Don't use it if your to worried. just use it lightly at first.

Fall your OB and ask the nurse. It probably won't hurt anything though.
