Gerald R Ford was far better than James Earl Carter. Carter was and still is a disaster. He should learn to speak only when spoken to, and never about a sitting president. No other former president ever spoke about how HE screwed the country up during his one term as President Malaise.

FORD ........ A TRULY HONEST MAN .........

Ford told Washington Post Iraq war not justified

WASHINGTON Former President Gerald Ford was critical of two of his former staffers in a 2004 interview embargoed until after his death.

Ford told Bob Woodward that Vice President Cheney and then-Defense Secretary Rumsfeld, as well as President Bush, made a "big mistake" by going into Iraq.

The Washington Post reports that Ford said he "very strongly" disagreed with Bush's justifications for invading Iraq in 2003. Ford said he would have pushed alternatives, such as sanctions, much more vigorously.

Ford was better, Carter ruined the economy in the late 70's and he did squat when the Embassy in Iran was over run and our countrymen and women were held for 444 days until Reagan was sworn in. Or will the Liberals say that was Bush's fault too just like Hurricane Katrina.
