There are many reasons why she is asleep when you get to bed. Maybe she really is just tired. Does she work? Do you stay up especially late?
Like others have suggested, why don't you try going to be at the same time that she does? Better yet, why not get in there when she first starts getting ready for bed, light some candles, and just lay there and chat with her about her day. Yeah, it takes some time but if you are kind and interested in her for a while, eventually she'll start feeling friendly toward you. Women can't just flick the switch and turn it on as easily as a man. They often need to feel warm and fuzzy toward you before they're going to feel like getting it on. If you come to the bed only with the attitude that she needs to snap to it and give you some poon tang, it isn't likely to be successful. Give her the time and attention that she needs and maybe she'll feel like staying awake for the both of your enjoyment. Or maybe, she isn't getting very much out of sex and is trying to avoid it. Perhaps you might try concentrating on just pleasuring HER without regard to yourself. Women don't usually mind putting out even if they don't feel that much like it, as long as from time to time, they really get theirs. Get theirs for real, not faking it so you feel like a man. If men would invest some pre-sex time into making a woman feel special, warm and fuzzy, they'd get a whole lot more poon tang. But of course, I'm sure you're doing all of this... so there really isn't a problem here. :-)

Well yeah you could be on the computer way to late and she feels neglected. Why should she have to stay up waiting until you get off the internet? Spend time with her because life is way to short.

Yes spending too much time on the internet, gaming and working may not be a good thing.
My guess, it's her way to not deal with you at all.

Maybe your question should have been, "Why do I not go to bed until my wife is asleep?"

Assuming you are having a healthy relationship and she is not doing that to get away from you , she could have low levels of iron in her blood, or some medical condition that causes her to require more sleep than average. I would suggest that she sees your family doctor, discuss her condition with him, and request blood tests.

Yes, and maybe she's tired! and I do mean REALLY TIRED! what was she doing before she went to bed? laundry, cleaning up, a 10k run? I'm sure she's just tired.
Here's an idea....WHY DON'T YOU ASK HER? ;)
