Growing up, I was never grounded. I never really did anything that required being grounded though. Now and then I got sent to my room, but it was only for an hour or so and then I was allowed to go out.

No, I was beaten with a strap, and mentally berated, starved and abused in all possible ways.
Grounding is good
Do not mean to be a downer but my point is that many of today's kids do not know what punishment is..............grounding is so civil and does not hurt them mentally or physically in the long run.

I got grounded for one weekend, it's the only time i've been grounded, and it waz because i got a D on my social studies test cuz i didnt study for it. it was the worst weekend of my life

The last time I was grounded I was 8. I accidently lit a girl on fire, BAD experience, she was o.k. but my butt hurt 4 a long time. Didnt quit bein a kid I just never got caught again, or did that stupid stuff again.

yeah - once in first grade, but i learned from my mistake and was never grounded again - i wasn't allowed to do anything or go anywhere except for school - and i was one of those smart nerdy students who always finished their homework right away, so i was really into extra curricular activities such as piano, but i wasn't allowed to go for like a week, so it stunk for me.
