Well his name is remarkably close OSAMA...maybe that qualifies him :)
i just dont want some guy to get into office who pulls half our troops out of Iraq leaving no support, causing a skyrocket in casualties. that would be a tragic display of abusing the power of commander and cheif to boost self support from people who are unqualified to make a decision on that either way, at the cost of better american men then we will ever be.

Lets see, his daddy is very rich, he's kind of tall and semi good looking, a smooth talker. What else could you possibly want? But he should really consider getting his ears reduced a bit. When you look at him straight on he looks like a car with all four doors open! But seriously it will be interesting if he makes it as far as the final 2 or 3 to see what he has to say. In the 15 minutes I've been in congress I have accomplished..........

He's completely unqualified, just like John Edwards. They have almost no experience and the little they have is as a Senator, which is completely different than being an "executive" like a governor. In fact, we haven't elected a sitting congressman for President since Kennedy, I believe.

Do you have something against someone who purchased a home from a known criminal? (that's the correct way to spell it) Were you there when he made the deal and purchased his home? If not, please don't state that you know he bought his home from a known criminal. If you own and live in a house that you didn't build from the ground up, how do you know that the person you purchased it from was not a known criminal? Do you have something against Barrack Obama? Capitalize his name when you write it. I am sure you learned that in grade school. But to answer your questions.
I don't live in IL but I do believe he has never stated that he "DESERVES" to be President. I am going to go on a limb here and ask you this question: Do you even watch the news? This man has never stated he deserves to be president and he has never stated that he is even running. Get your facts straight before you ask your questions.

You're trying to think logically about politics thinking its like qualifications for any other job. Its about momentum. Are you hot? Are you electable? Are you likable? Are you Charismatic and Charming? Do you look like a leader on TV. Past records have nothing to do with modern elections...I'm actually hoping for a non political person like Jack Welch or Steven Jobs to sit in the Presidents Chair.

Has anyone read his book? It's quite inspiring, his ideals of our political system are quite thought-provoking.
But then again, I can't expect America to be informed, just easily spun by interesting headlines.
Ooh, he bought a house. Does that make him less able to lead the United States of America? It says nothing about his qualifications to be president.
Learn the facts before you bash him. I admit I'm no expert on the man, I haven't met him yet. You probably haven't either, so give him a fair chance before you rip him to shreds.

I think he has what america needs,,,He appeals to everyone and it is the most important factor for the next president is to get along with other countries and a great leader uses chain of commands and does not ack like he has all the answers, And truman was in with the criminal mob so was kenny and what difference does that make , Protocol with countries and our country"s honor is at stake,,

Did anyone ask this question of George Bush six years ago? He had accomplished nothing but failure throughout his life, and has not broken that streak since being appointed President. His mismanagement of the country was easily predictable, especially being advised by corrupt CEOs (take your pick, Cheney, Lay, etc.).
What had Ronald Ray-gun accomplished before running for President? Death Valley Days?

I don't think the guy should run.
