Prune juice...some peopled mix it with Sprite b/c they don't like the taste of it and say mixing it with Sprite taste more like a Dr. Pepper. If your constipation is really bad you can buy Magnesium Citrate at any drug store for $1.99. It's a liquid drink that taste like sour candy but it is effective. It works within 12 hours but be prepared...it's potent and will clean you out.

You have to keep your digestive tract moving according to its design. Eat a healthy diet, whole grains, vegs, fish, poultry. Increase your fiber or take a fiber supplement and you MUST drink lots of fluid with high fiber. Oh, yeah, fresh fruit. Some meds can cause decrease in motility of bowels. Seek your Dr.'s advice before using any kind of laxative.
