I can't even think of a brand that's more preppy than Ralph Lauren. I equate the brand with the blandness and non-creativity of suburbia.

RL is the standard for classic cut in American clothing.
As a real sized woman with large breasts I can't wear most of the tailored clothes without extensive alterations. That is my only beef with them. I have a curvy shape and that style is not made for my body shape.

Ummmm NO. Ralph Lauren is a great designer...but Gucci, Armani and D&G are MUCH more prestigious!!!!
