Hey, Phil. There is loads to do in Melbourne, but what time of year are you visiting? That will determine what's best to do. There's loads of cool stuff, but what type of person are you: a cafe latte person/ a museum person/a sporty person? Melbourne at night is fabbo, especially on weekends. It's very cultural and artsy, but also quite funky and there are as many clubs as theatres. We're known for our love of arts/culture, but there are very few passions you can't indulge in Melbourne and two days is plenty to see some of our cooler offerings, from a boat trip around the bay to the fairy penguins on Philip Island.

G'day,

Lots of things to do, depending on when will you come. Say in September or October, a trip to Dandenong for Tulip festival is almost a must.

Best thing is to check these websites and figure out what can you do in those days. Who know, you might even prefer to go shopping, since that also what Melbourne is famous for.

Good luck and welcome to Melbourne.

There is a steam boat ride on the river. There is also a boat trip up river to a beautiful and interesting island.
