Yes, there is a 'Bermuda Triangle'. It is a loose definition of an area between Florida, Bermuda and the Bahamas (I'm pretty sure).

PBS ran a show on NOVA once entitled the Bermuda Triangle...
Explained. It showed how given the number of vessels (especially pleasure craft) and the intensity and suddeness of storms in the area, that the number of vessels lost in the area
really is not out of the ordinary.

They showed how some of the more spectacular cases of disappearances were not that mysterious. It is large body of water with the Gulf Stream able to take objects far into the depths of the Atlantic, so not finding debris of a missing vessel is not unheard of.

Things at sea can happen quickly and unless they can radio a
position, it's a mighty big ocean to look for someone.

Peace

There is an area called "The Bermude Triangle", however, there are no more people lost there then in any other areas. The tale was woven by shipmates during WW II whom had heard of tales of the pirates of Blackbeard and the like and wove tales during long hours of water time. This in time lent its way to Airships and the next thing you know, a legend is born. If you look at stats of lost ships globally, there are actually more ships and aircrafts lost suddnely over Cape Horn, which is located on the very southern tip of South America, then was ever lost over the infamous "Bermuda Triangle". It is fun to speculate about, though, isn't it? The specuation however is pure hooey and hardly know in any place except the upper western world of the globe.

I've heared about it long time ago and i remember readin a book about it. The Bermuda triangle has a high magnetic fieldso planes and ships go down because they are pulled by the earth's gravitational pull. The one thing i dont know is what happened to people over there.

The people and air/watercraft that went missing have never been found. There have been numerous theories with everything from magnetic fields, UFO abductions and simply bad weather. There is even a web site on it:

BERMUDA TRIANGLE IS A GEOGRAPHICAL REALITY.
IT IS IN THE ATLANTIC OCEAN.
IT HAS NOTHING MYSTERIOUS.
ALL ACCIDENTS ARE COINCIDENTAL.
ONE THING IS NOT KNOWN:
CERTAIN CHEMICAL ARE OOZED OUT BY OCEAN BOTTOM CHASMS THAT MAKE WATER VERY DILUTE.
MORE DISPLACEMEN OF WATER UNDER DOWNWARD THRUST CAUSED ACCIDENTAL SINKING OF SHIPS.
