well how old is old,?
i am 34 with 4 dogs, 2 day old puppies, 4 cats, 2 birds and a snake... so i could be that old lady

I think every street has an old lady with a bunch of cats living on it...I love cats!!!

YEAH, didn't know they exist everywhere :)
but really, we have this old lady about 70 yrs old, she considers herself responsible for the cats in the streets, and gets them food nearly everyday
poor people on the street stare at her while doing that, they wish she would feed them instead :)

Not where I live now.
. I have seen the problem with lonely people acquiring too many pets and then not being able to take care of them.
They think they are doing a good deed by taking in the animals and then the overpopulation becomes a problem.
Many communities now have laws regulating how many pets a household can have.
It can be a serious health concern both to the human owner, the neighbors and the animals themselves.
And alway spay and neuter those pets.

At my old house, I had a lady who lived right across from me and she owned 18 cats. I think she had a girl and a boy and they had kittens, then their kittens had kittens, then their kittens has kittens, then... well you get the point. But it reminded of the crazy cat lady on the Simpsons who has SO many cats and she throws them at people! LOL! But this cat lady across from me was a real sweety, she even let me feed her cats when I went out for walks. =)

sadly it's my mom and she thinks she can save every fleabag in the neighborhood but she usually finds homes for them so it kind of balances out in the end.

Used to. She was my next-door neighbor. That's how I got my cat. She had 9 cats. 9 CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
