Glucose is the monosaccharide that makes up all of the polys. They are simply bonded in defferent ways.

Starch is the storage form of energy for plants (like a potato) while animals (humans) store their energy as glycogen. Cellulose is the compound that makes up plant cells...serves as a sort of 'exoskeleton' for plants. You know what cellulose is...look at a stalk of broccoli and the fibrous stuff at the base is thick and stringy...that's cellulose.
