how do lead singers of screamo bands sing like that is it their mic or something

how do the lead singers of screamo bands make their voice sound like that, i mean is it their mic or something,
please help!!!!!

some of them train or they can just do it but some people just scream and the other one screams so the real singer doesnt mess up there voice and they dont have effects on the mics cause how would they sing live and the way they spit in the mic would probably tare it up or maybe they record it then act like there singing that way sooo.......there i hope it answered ur question

I hate when people say screamo, but i'll take it anyways
I'm going to interpret this by thinking that you are like one of my friends who i started a band with. when he trys to scream, nothing comes out, some people just can't, i don't know why.
and theres a different between screaming and screaming in tune, first start by screaming in general, it helps to make your voice really low and deep and stand in the middle of no where and sing along to metal songs as loud as you can. volume is important. also, record yourself (hold the mic a litle far away or you'll get a buzzing sound) and then compare it to metal bands, eventually it actually helps.

Yeah, they scream like that, but you won't hear of them for long because unless they are professionally trained on vocals, they will mess their voices up in a short time. Also, they do have vocal effects they use, which are either in the mics or controlled by the guy running the soundboard.

To be honest i dont understand how a band could do a whole world tour like that, ..
The physical damage on your throat that it would cause.
Normal singers face throat damage eventually at one point in their career, and have to change their singing voices, somwhere down the line.
Screamo bands, if you can imagine, would only beable to do what 5 years ? with their voice, then its all down to sound engineers to make effects on their voice.

most of the time they're 2 singers, one sings , another screams...but yea,
