Believe it is in that 3lb mass between your ears.
Should be one's mind, thoughts etc.
Only other place such terminology could be used would be one's soul (if you believe). But I think that might be called 'ethereal space'.

Peace

I can't remember right now where I've heard the believe in two types of space or universe, one visible and one invisible called by some new age scientists a higher dimension or reality within time and space. Some occultists believe this invisible space or universe is divided in to spheres or universes where time and space move at a different speed, reason why they occupies the same space. Our physical universe is the lowest dimension called in the Jewish cabala Malkuth and the microcosm by others. The physical man is also call that. It is also said that the entire creation is connected with our subconscious mind, to which the conscious mind can have access if it only new how. I don't know if this answer your question but it is the best i can do here.

Methinks Inner Space could mean the sea? I mean I don't really think the sea has really been exploited in certain areas. Outer Space is beyond mans knowledge because it is so vast, so out stretching. Heck, I really don't think we know what a star is or why it burns so brightly at night. (Seeing is one thing. Exploring is another.) And the same can be said about the oceans or seas (Hey, It's almost new year and I'm partying if I sound, funny...) The sea water gets awfully darn cold at night, like space, yet fish, whale sharks, etc.. manage to survive. And who knows what really lurks beneath? Such as different types of fish, lost discovery's, and sunken treasures (If your in to that...) Just like Outer Space. UFOs. Lifeforms etc...

=)

This is a stupid question. Anything beyond the layers of our planet is considered outer space, while everything in our planet is deemed inner space.
