I am not a conservative, however I listen to conservative talk-radio a lot. I am stunned at the amount of hatred the people in America have for Saddam. Sure, he did a lot of horrible things, but mostly his victims were his own people. I just feel that many Americans are confusing the issue by connecting him to the 9/11 terrorist attack.

I've got to agree on that one. However instead of stoning, I think he should be executed the same way he killed his own people. He would realize his mistakes and suffer a painful death.
