i'm writing a song on important issues, what would you like to hear about?. be specific and i'll make it work

Positive things. The world (as a whole) is so negative and violent, and as corny as it sounds, I think we could all use a little world peace :)

Also, you could bring out the good in people. For example, the good work that US soldiers are doing in Iraq instead of writing about all of the bad things over there.

Songs that are specifically about "issues" are almost always terrible; they tend to treat the issue as more important than the song, which is to the detriment of the song . There are exceptions like "What's Goin' On" and "Ohio", but they are fairly uncommon. My only advise about making a song like that is you need to be sure that the song is worth listening to on a musical and lyrical level and not just as a shaky pedestal for your political views.

You mean *lyrically* or instrumentally?

For instruments, I'd LOVE to hear a good ol' Hammond organ.
