Unfortunately in this economy hard work isn't rewarded. The economy isn't worker friendly, but investor friendly.
The best I can tell you is to find a large company, and just work your way up. May take 10 years, but you'll be satisfied in the end.
Edit: Dont trust her...if those unorthodox ways really worked then everyone would know about them and everyone would be doing them.
A way to get ahead is to be smart with your money and stay away from money draining scams.
