I'm not exactly sure what category this would go in, but...
For four straight nights, kids have been taking my neighbors lawn furniture and dumping them on top of my vehicles. Am I allowed to fire my BB gun at people who trespass onto my property? It wouldn't hurt them too bad. I've set up a videocamera in my garage because I'm sure they'll be back tonight. I know this question is kind of weird....

Don't shot at them. It could end up costing you too much out of the pocket. Just use your video camera and get them that way. When you get them on camera destroying your property make a copy and file charges against them. You may also want to put up no tresspassing signs.

I once had teenage tresspassers and learned that yelling at them, after they refused to leave when asked politely, only got my house egged, so, I got the police and their parents involved and after the police had them clean the egg off my house they later became civil, but only after I befriended them (they were much more respectful after having to clean the house and after their parents and police were involved). I make a point to talk with them and wave to them when outside my house or driving through my neighborhood. I suggest talking with them first respectfully, and try to "win" them over. If they are totally unreasonable, then get the police and their parents involved. Do not shoot the BB gun at anyone!

The video camera is a great idea. Calling 911 is another. Never shot a fire arm in a residential area unless YOU want to get arrested.

get a dog with big teeth

set some stacks of aluminum cans on thin wires that will make a lot of noise when they scoundrels trip over them moving toward your vehilces and get your neighbor to do the same thing so it ends before it gets to your house.

get motion sensor floodlights

the cops may or may not be able to help you- sooo many hooligans, and too few cops

Yeah, you take a shot at 'em with a BB gun...and see what happens when one of 'em pulls a nine out and pops a few off in your general direction.

Just call the law.

you cannot fire upon them in the state of georgia unless you feel personally threatened then you can defend yourself in whatever means possible...i would say to keep things fairly calm, video tape them doing this damage, call the police and show them the evidence and let them contact the parents and kids to get your compensation and justice...which by the way you deserve.

No, you aren't allowed to fire your BB gun at them. You are allowed to call the police and let them take care of it.
