No. A person is able to retard their own aging process by moving at near the speed of light, by being frozen to almost absolute zero, and even by existing in a gravitational field which approaches an energy value near that of a person is a moving spaceship. As an illustratiion: a person moving through space at the speed of light minus 25 mps (miles per second) would have the same time value within the mass of their body as a person 0.717 miles from the very core point of our planet. The equality of change of the two has to do with overall frequency of the mass. http://360.yahoo.com/noddarc or http://timebones.blogspot.com expand on this concept.

The difinitive reason mankind cannot move into another time period other than their own is found in the physics triogy. E = mc2, m = E/c2, and c2 = E/m describes the basis of our universe. Notice that the "c2" value is the only value that does not change. Mass and energy are able to transform into one another, but "c2" always remains the same. This value is that of physical time expressing itself as a particular velocity.

It is this value that forms our physical time and the speed at which the present becomes the past. This value shows that our physical existence is equal to that of the speed of light - it is that duration that we exist. This means that all that ever shall exist to mankind is the present. There exists no such thing as the past or future for us to directly relate with. All the mass of past people and things exists in present time only. All the inventions of the future exist in present time - they just aren't put together yet.

as people said, we are traveling through time right now. As of now, there is no way for us to time travel as in the movies.
However, it is possible for people to time travel relative to themselves. For instance, according to Einstein's theory of relativity, time moves slower for things that move faster (they've done an experiment setting two atomic clocks to the identical time, then one was sent into orbit above the earth. Eventually one clock read a different time from the other because time was moving slower from the one in space).
So, using that (or if we got freezing people and waking them back up to work) if a person was moving very quickly through space for a year(for him), more than a year would have passed back on earth, making it seem as if he had jumped ahead in time.

*on second thought, people who wake up after being in a coma probably feel like they've traveled through time, and that can happen these days.

Theoretically, yes, time travel is possible. However, there is currently no technology that allows people to do so.

Of course, we're traveling forward through time.

at this point in time no. no one on earth has been able to achieve the amount of speed needed to travel between dimensions. but in the future it may indeed be achieved.

Of course. You're doing it right now. Moving forward at 60 sec/min.

As to jumping forward and back, probably not for a while. Not until we can control black holes.

Of all the things this universe contains, I will say yes, it is possible. (besides the obvious that we move forward through time)

We probably wont see it in our lifetimes.

As far as we know, it is impossible for any "macroscopic" object, that is, for any object the size of a molecule or bigger.

Of course not. Don't believe Star Trek or any of the other fiction.

your going foward in time right now(60sec./min)
you could also use a black hole
