Besides the obvious of having been "supposed to be" another sign? I ask because I was due August 15th but born June 23. Was I supposed to be a Leo? How much would Leo, as opposed to Cancer, affect me?

I believe that it doesn't affect your horoscope. I could understand other people saying that it is charted out from the day of conception. But what I believe is it just matters the day that you were actually born.
Cancers and Leos are both great anyway, as I am a cancer and have 3 leo's in my family!

everything is charted for us. we preselect every aspect of our life before incarnating, including our sun sighn, ascendant as well as moon sign. being born early or late doesnt mean you are one sign but you are supposed to be another. you are actually timing your entry to be sure of the right asrological signs. so dont be uspet about being born premature...you were supposed to be a cancer. not a leo. as a cancer your ruling planet is the moon as opposed to leos sun. your element is water (emotional) as opposed to fire(ambitious). also you are a cardinal sign which means you are active and enterprising as opposed to a fixed sign which is stable and resistant to change.

Very interesting thoughts! I, too, was premature and often wonder why I don't always "fit" Virgo (with a Leo cusp). I don't agree with the others who say it doesn't matter. You were conceived before you were born and the stars had already started to chart you! I am going to look into this further. Thanks!
