I am listening to In My Life by The Beatles. I think it's an amazing tune but is never mentioned as one of their best. I also love Suspicious Minds By the ledge Elvis, Tracks of My Tears by Smokey Robbinson. Love Man by Otis Redding too. There are soooo many songs I love that never get mentioned in the best song lists. I also love the Fratellis and none of my friends do. Since You've been Gone by Rainbow-also cool!

I have never heard any of the songs that you mention but that's not surprising, as a 67 year old man I stop't listening to pop music at the end of the sixties but here is a good excuse to ask once again in if anyone remembers the film called, uncle Ree-mas I think it included a song the title of which I think was zipadeda Zipadeday wonderful feeling wonderful day .it was the first colour film I ever saw . and this was in the days before colour TV that is in the UK ,so it's a long time ago. I have had no answers to this question.hope you don't mind me taking this liberty.yours in Jesus Christ Peter William lack . Thank you .

I love the music of Jethro Tull - it's a great band. They have released over 30 fantastic albums and are even better live. Most of my mates have never heard of them and one of my best mates heard half of one of their songs and says that it was awful and tallentless - the song had won an MTV music award!

I agree with you that Rainbow is cool. They have done a lot of good songs that just don't get played. Richie Blackmore from Rainbow has a new band called Blackmore's night - they never get on the radio but I love them and have all their albums.

Another band I love is Gogol Bordello, they are not popular yet but they are still new and I think they may make it big. They sing songs in a unique Gypsy Punk style.

Have a fantastic day and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Keep listening to what YOU like that is the best music for you and remember to keep looking for more great bands to enjoy!

Video game music, especially those taken from Final Fantasy. Nobody I know personally has ever heard these songs, or if they have they certainly don't express any liking for them!

Eyes On Me. Performed by Faye Wong (Final Fantasy VIII)
Melodies of Life. Performed by Emiko Shiratori (English AND Japanese versions; Final Fantasy IX)

The FFX theme (Suiketa Da Ne performed by Rikki) isn't bad either, and I like the songs from FFX-2, e.g. the opening piano theme (can't remember what it's called!), 'real Emotion' and 'A Thousand Words.' Even some of the fans don't like them!

I really want to get the game music CDs...
