My finace and I are getting married in October. He has a woman friend in another state (they are just friends) and he emails her every once in a while, but he hasn't told her one thing about me or about us getting married. Why? Should I be worried? Does this mean he is embarrassed about me? This makes me kind of sad. Anyone have any advice?

Have you asked him why he hasn't mentioned you? There maybe a thousand reasons why he hasn't mentioned you. But the only thing I can suggest is communication. Let him know how you are feeling. And if he continues to communicate with her without mentioning you, then you may want to start asking some questions.

Take the rose colored glasses off and see the picture for what it is. If this girl doesn't know about you then you need to re examine your relationship and question if you should be marrying this man. All of my guy friends that have girl friends and in good relationships always mention their girlfriend in one form or another. The issue is your man and not the other woman. You should be sad, Sad that you are about to devote your life to someone ,,,, a someone who is not devoted to you.

Have you watched "My best Friend's Wedding" ? Take a moment to talk to your fiance and get things clear before you make any decision. You're taking a big step in your life and your happiness is the most important. Talking to him is the only way you can figure out what is going on. Good luck!

If he's keeping you a secret from his friend there's a good reason. She is a better friend than you know obviously.I wouldn't marry him if I were you this is a major red flag. He's not embarrassed about you. He's embarrassing himself. I'd be plenty worried.

This doesn't sound good at all. His female friend must be "more" than that. How do you know she doesn't know?
