I have to disagree with everyone to. Miscarraiges are caused by many things but rarely are they caused by something the mother is doing. Your body is made for this so you'd have to be under some pretty serious stress to effect your baby enough to miscarry. Generally speaking, miscarriages are caused by genetic defects in the fetus; missing dna links and deformaties. It's natures way of saying that the baby was just not right. Removing stress wouldn't stop a miscarriage so why would you think it would start one?

If you've had a miscarriage and were stressed, don't blame yourself. It was probably nothing you did.

Too much stress can lead to miscarriage or early delivery because when you stress it causes alot of stress on the baby. Also too much stress can lead to heart diease and alot of other problems in life. Try relaxing and when you feel stressed take a walk or do something that you know will take the stress away.

I almost had a miscarriage because of stress, but my baby survived at 24 weeks. He is a miracle, I am suprised that I didn't go into labor sooner, what caused it was losing my father and grandmother in 3 weeks and leaving my abusive boyfriend all at the same time.

I have to disagree with mostly everyone, and say NO. If your body is going to reject a pregnancy its not from stress but something was wrong with the fetus that it couldnt survive, Yes its true that if mothers are stressed or depressed that will pass to the baby.

Oh absolutely. Many people complain of stomach cramps when they get upset, or butterflies in the stomach when they are nervous -- many of us hold our stress in the stomach region and it will get tight. Therefore, thinking there's a baby in there, stress can absolutely cause a miscarriage.

Absolutely. Stress causes many chemicals in the body to go crazy. If you are pregnant at this time it is very hard on a baby.

Yes it can, especially in the first 3 months. Find a pasttime that lets you relax or give yourself some "me" time every now and then to destress yourself.
