In answer to your question, the latest installment of the "Rocky" movies will be the last movie in the series, to which this one is actually "Rocky 6".
My suggestion would be to, if you can, get the DVDs or videos of the previous movies, starting with "Rocky". This will help you to understand who the characters are in the movie and if you'd actually like to see "Rocky Balboa".
Basically, the premise of the movie "Rocky" (which spawned all the sequels) is about an "underdog" named Rocky Balboa (who has no education, is down on his luck, etc.) who gets a chance to fight the World Heavyweight Champion of the World, Apollo Creed. The story follows Rocky thru his training, his personal life, finding a girlfriend, etc.
Most people, people who have no interest in boxing, find that the "Rocky" movie is much more than the boxing aspect of it. People simply fell in love with the movie/character and it's become a classic. In my personal opinion, I think that you will like the "Rocky" movie (the first one) and will want to see the rest of the movies, including "Rocky Balboa".

It is a slow movie with boxing at the end of it and a lot of references to the other 5 Rocky movies.
