Yahoo groups. but just a heads up making online friends is harder then making real-life friends (but its still cool to find people you would never normaly meetin real life with the same interest) Dont judge people on there profiles. It will take a while for a friendship to develop online compared to a real life one. there are alot of rude and inconsiderate people so make friends online with good gramar and spelling (seems ok with you and ppl will respect you more online with that namely because it makes you seem more iteligent.) people lie about there age well some do at least (STAY CLEAR OF THESE SICKOS) and never release personal info online. You can build a good reputation for what you do online not for what you do in real life. (You know are you the funny one, the quiet one, the big mouth, the genius, etc...) Once you know these individuals enough then and only then can you go beyond that. but I never and Never will release personal info no MATTER HOW MUCH I TRUST THE PERSON ONLINE I mean yeah my first name is____ and I livein ___ but NOTHING beyond that and I dont care how long ive known the person its not happening. You should do the same to be safe. Otherwise its fun to have online friends. So......Enjoy!

How about first making some real, meat and bones friends who in turn can become on-line friends too. Of course, if you're trying to avoid real relationships, then on-line, shallow, meaningless relationships with a keyboard, monitor and who knows who on the other end, are a dime a dozen. In which case you can jump into a chat room of your choice. It should move quickly from there (being safe is key tho).

Conisider this:
Do a search on yahoo groups, for things you're interested in. There, you will find others who are interested in the same things and you'll have a common ground for building a frienship with them. You start chatting with them through the message boards and then through yahoo messenger. Good Luck!!

I will be happy to be your friend and you can also make friends with people who you meet who will give you their email address. Another thing you can do is to go to myspace.com and register and fill out the information asked for. It sill cost you nothing. A lot of people go to this web site to meet people.

simple. find forums. or sites that are of interests. like if you like games. go to a game site. or chatting helps too. use some chat program or makes friends through myspace or friendster. i havent met much of my online friends since mostly they are not from my area or abroad but i think thats the beauty of it. just simply find forums, chat sites, discussions, and you will meet friends there.

well to be honest with you making real friends is better than making online friends. but you can make a profile on myspace.com and make friends there and if you like playing games you can play mmorpgs like world of warcraft and meet tons of people online and make friends! hope that helps!

A true friend is someone who will stand by you in thick and thin. It would be very difficult to develop that on line.
