My best friend keeps doing things that's making me rather confused!
She keeps making jokes that we are in a lesbian relationship and jokingly strokes my legs and arms, pinches my bum and stuff. She has said stuff to me like she loves me and that she thinks I'm hot and if she were a guy or a lesbian she'd go out with me.
I stayed over at her place and she cuddled me in the bed by hooking her leg over my waist and placing her arm over my stomach. We've also been out together on nights out and she's had her arms round my waist. I have caught her staring into my eyes on occasions.
She does have a boyfriend but doesn't seem very happy with him.She does comment on how hot guys are as well as girls but says that she's not gay at all. But her signals are quite confusing!
This doesn't really bother me, I just want an idea as to what is happening in her head.
Anyone got any suggestions here? Is she possibly bi? What do you think

1st would it matter if she was gay? Would you still be her friend?
If it doesn't matter and you would still be her friend then come out and ask her. She might be curious as a lot of people are but it doesn't mean she is gay. She may just be an overly affectionate person and be free with touching & hugging. If it bothers you then you need to let her know in a nice way as not to hurt her feelings.
But like the others have said just come out and ask her if she is gay or curious about it. You may be surprised by her answer.
There is nothing wrong with admirering a beautiful person. Christina Agularia just said in the news that she is more turned on by naked woman then men, I see that as totally acceptable as woman are lovely. I probably wouldn't have told the world, there are just some things you should keep private. But all in all there is nothing wrong with seeing the beauty in another person inside or out.
So relax and just talk to her...

She could be bi, hun. But if she means it as a joke when she's acting like a les, then just leave it alone.
Alot of teen girls do that, act like lesbians as a joke. They find it rather amusing. My friends and I do that all the time. But we're not really lesbians.
Just sit her down and ask her if she's gay. I'm sure if she's your best friend, she'll tell the truth.

my friends and i always play around like that (pinching, "flirting" talking smack) and I am the furtherest hing from bi- or lesbian. (although one of my best friends is a bi-sexual). Although noe of us have ever cuddle in bed together... anyway... if it makes you uncomfrotable, jsut ask her to stop becaus eit makes you uncomfortable. dont bring the lesbian/bi thing into it if she does it again jsut tell her "hey look, i know you enjoy cuddling and stuff, but it makes me relaly uncomfortable.
in anycase, you are probably insecure in your sexuality because i used to be the same way. i wouldnt joke around, or play around with another female until i met my friend and she taught me a lot about self-esteem. i am comfortable with my sexuality (straight0 enough to act silly and not worry about how someone else will take it. so grow up alittle bit and stop worrying so damn much

i think that you should tell that you only want to be friends and nothing Else.if some thing happen that might ruin you relationship with her.and and maybe she is bi and just be there and be a good friend

Sounds like she is testing you to see what your reaction is. You need to tell her straight up if this is bothering you. If you are true friend you will let her know it is okay no matter who she wants to be with. And if she is your true friend she will respect how you feel about this situation.

If you really want to know what's going on in her head, ask her. And don't let her just blow off the conversation if you really want to know. Make sure you're honest with her and hopefully she's be honest with you.

if you 2 are really best friend that it is good to ask and you should remain best friends or more after you get the answer but just guessing I think she wants you.

maybe she is a lesbian, or she is doing it to show off. talk with her and see what her intentions are.
