my sister and i had a discussion about wonder woman's jet. even though her jet is invisible you can still see her so i said it was pointless for her to have one. my sister disagreed, she said that when she's in the jet her enemies or whatever cant see her, shes only visible to us cuz we're watchin her. my question is does her being in the jet make her not visible to her enemies (since we can see her) ?

Wonder woman’s invisible plane has been around a long time, even before it was a jet. The thing is, it was supposed to be RADAR-invisible, so people from Man’s World couldn’t follow her back to Paradise Island and ruin the Amazon’s immortality. Radar-invisibility is common now on military stealth planes, but back in those days it was unheard of. Making it transparent was just a way for the artist to suggest it was ‘invisible to radar’. That way, Wonder Woman could be seen while she was in it, and the reader stayed focused on her as the main character.

Her jet is supposed to make her invisible but they never drew it that way in the cartoons I guess so kids wouldn't get confused and not think that she was in there.

the JLU version of the inviable jet which was the invisable javlen was way cool. thiswas shown in the episoid when they were giving superman a present for his birth day and they had to fight mongul. if i were I'd reall start searching for the JLU DVD's since it show's better version of the inviable that makes sense.

yes,its like the star trek cloaking device. the romulans/klingons are cloaked in a ship, but you can still see them on the tv. it's an artistic device.

this belongs in the same boat as ''why cant anyone tell clark kent is super man, just because he wears glasses?'', or ''why dont the hulk's pants rip off like the rest of his clothing?''... comic book magic...

WELL I COULD ALWAYS SEE HER IN THE JET. BUT MAYBE "THEY" COULD NOT! I GUESS I WONDERED THAT MYSELF.
I DON'T THINK SHE WAS INTO DUDES MYSELF
