No; actually, the Wii targets nongamers, older people, people of all ages, and teens. I've heard success stories of how teens got their middle-aged parents to play the game, or their nongamer girlfriend/boyfriend. The only way it can be too childish is if you only purchase games that look childish.

No, games really aren't childish at all. Alot of video games require strategic methods in order to beat them taking intellect that some children couldn't do. Alot of games challenge you, they are the opposite of it. Its all a matter or perspective.

No, my 32 year old cousin has one and she loves it. She plays with her husband all the time. I'm 17 and i'm looking into getting one when I can find one in stores.

not really im 12 ( only 2 yrs younger and i hav 1. there are still mature games lik red steel and um...... well its still fun. we even though the system isnt all teen and up games. every game except gt pro series and maybe elebits isnt fun. well ya
