There are several good products on the market. Can't think of the names right now. Or if you really like the item, take it in and have the dry cleaner remove it.

I do not know how to answer.. I do not know how the rust got on there n the first place.. Just off hand.. I would guess that it has to do with the washing machine??? and if so, you should contact the washing machine company and complain..

There is a yellow(or pink ???) jelly stuff that car parts store sold for getting rust off vehicles.. I have heard tell that that works very well

Whink Rust Stain Remover. Great on all colorfast fabrics. Found in many grocery stores and Wal-Mart in the laundry department. It comes in a copper color bottle. I have used this many times and am very, very happy with the results. I keep a bottle in my laundry room at all times. Hope this helps.

Sodium trisulphate or sodium thiosulphate (don't remember which one) will remove the stain, but I don't know any brand names of product that has it in it. Your local water treatment plant could probably tell you. That's what we used to give people when they would get rust stains in their laundry after a water main break. Just add to wash.

There is a product made by the folks who do dyes - Dye Rite, maybe - it comes in a brown container and is miraculous. I had a shirt and a pair of pants that NOTHING worked on, and this stuff returned the clothes to pristine condition.

Good luck.

We have the same problem, and it sucks. You can use Oxi clean, but that doesn't helpt hat much in Rusty water. You can use something called Iron Out, you can purchase it in the laundry aisle at your grocery store, it works well, but it can fade any colors. We have just started taking our whites and light colors to the laundromat, it may cost a little to wash them there but it is worth it

A friend of mine had a washer that spit out rust on her white uniforms, she said she sprayed her uniforms with oven cleaner and washed in warm water. They were clean when she showed them to me.I guess if they are ruined anyway it wouldn't hurt.I hope this helps....
