for me its Casablanca. it came out in 1942 and its considered to be the greatest movie of all time. whats urs?

Yes, I agree, as a classic movie I too pick Casablanca and have seen it several times and am always open to watching it again.
In a newer movie, I'd have to go with Shawshank Redemption.

The Usual Suspects. Great script & original story. Excellent acting by all leading actors (even Stephen Baldwin gave an outstanding performance). But it's Kevin Spacey's movie. What a performance from him - his facial expression, shifty eyes, body language. And then there's the ending - the mother of all twists. After watching the movie for the first time on DVD, I just sat there for an hour, recalling all the scenes & tried to sort out the "jigsaw". After that I played the DVD again & pressed the pause & rewind button many times to see whether the Bryan Singer & Co. has cheated on us, the audience and No, they played fair all right.

I absolutely loved "Fargo". I loved how pleasant Minnesota seemed when on every character except Buscemi and his partner, then they used nothing but curse words. This was also a beautiful movie to look at. The story was great, and the acting was even better. Either that or "Amadeus", which the music lover in me loved. Two great movies from different ends of the spectrum.

My favorite film of all time actually is a three part trilogy: Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi because they are great pieces of work for the time they were made, and I grew up watching them.

Pierates of the carribean , 1 and two. Cause it has adventure and it has jonney depp . And mostly when I was a kid , my friends and my cousins used to play pireates all the time. Plus I love movies about pierates.

Crazy in Alabama. I love that movie. I think domestic abuse is a horrible thing to live with, and her story was awesome. Also the judge was great!

Came out in 1977, is considered a cult movie and is absolutely hilarious about a younger man and older woman who fall in love.

Its a tie between Pirates of the Caribbean 1 and Step Up. I like Pirates cause the actors and they did a good performance and i like Step Up cause again the actors did good at dancing and dancing interests me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually I have 2 at 13 yr. old I went to see STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE 17 times. loved Brando. now I have CONAIR Nicholas cage love him too
