I wouldn't want to strangle them. I'd want to wipe those over expressive smiles off their faces by gouging their eyes out with sporks.....I could do so much worse than strangulation.

It depends on the kind of cheerfulness. I am generally an upbeat person, but there is the oozy fake cheerfulness that seems almost manic, those are the only cheerful people that I am uncomfortable with.

Some people AREN'T cheerful, but they have to put that face on to make the social cogs move freely.
I'm not. But everyone that I talk to when I go out into society, thinks that I am.
It makes my world a tiny little bit easier. Don't judge.
Don't get me wrong, either. I'd never tolerate a bully or real injustice. But, you know.

That''s the point. They're anything but cheerful. It's a fake. And the point is to annoy. I've met genuinely cheerful people. They heal.

People who are overly cheerful just seem fake. I don't want to strangle them, but I don't feel comfortable around them. It seems like they need a lot of attention.

Nope, they deserve the biggest hug for being different than most of us are. They spread good will with their cheerfulness. Such a person has a well balanced mind and we should aspire to be like them.

people who are too cheerful or too depressing - i'd like to strangle. i dont really know why. its just annoying for some reason.

Only when I'm feeling a bit depressed. But note that there's a difference between cheerful and hyper.

No, they have to be annoying to be annoying........then I want to strangle them. Just cheerful is not annoying.

i find them interesting and i want to find out why they are so cheerful. When i see someone cheerful it makes me smile, thinking that they are happy.
