Are you talking about having a nightmare while you sleep or are you talking about your worst fear?
Sleep nightmare: I had a dream that I was sleeping like normal and I opened my eyes (I was still asleep but didn't know it). Suddenly I felt a sharp poke in my back and a voice said "Don't turn around." I got so scared I woke up, but the nightmare was so realistic that I lay there for a while before I had the guts to finally turn. I stayed awake the rest of the night.
Worst fear: Something happening to my daughter.

Recently I had a nightmare that didn't involve death or despair or monsters or anything and it managed to scare the living hell out of me. I was rejected from a large group of my friends at a party by someone who I considered a good friend. It was strange and very unlike what would really happen but it seemed to be a really bad nightmare

my worst mightmare was when i had a dream of the texas chainsaw massacre killing everyone. he was in illinois and he killed almost 1000 people. i didn't want him to kill me so i was his assistant. after he killed like 30 people, he gave me his chainsaw and he wanted me to clean it. before i cleaned it i asked him "don't your ever feel guilty for killing all these people??" he took out a knife and he was about to stab me. before he could do that i turned on the chainsaw and cut his arm off. then i woke up from my nightmare.
