Those people are crazy! Red Hot Chili Peppers are far from prep rock. Granted, they have matured, but those guys are pioneers. Prep rock is crap like Fall Out Boy. You can't even put them in the same category.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are Funk/Alternative, extremely far from prep rock.

Ok opinion on your question-Rhcp rent' prep rock, they are pretty normal to ard core rock. answer to question- Prep rock is a more girly (i love you) boy crazy gilr icon boy band kinda rrock. Im a prep myself, er preppy and i like P1atd and fall out boy, stuff like that. hope i helped! Have a great dayy!
