At least you have a house! Put your Christmas in perspective. My family has been there, if we forgot to close our garage door something would have been stolen on less than an hour. Some kids in other country's spend Christmas alone, Without presents, Without food, And Without a house. Be Happy For What You Do Have! Have A Happy New Year! And may your NEXT Christmas be Merry!

Well...it wasn't MY worst Christmas however my sister in laws boyfriend lost his mom to cancer several years ago on the 26 of Dec...he had a very difficult time getting over that and Christmas to him was a hard time. This year...his dad died, on the 26th of Dec!
I still have no idea what to say to him about this...I'm so sorry for your loss just doesn't seem to cut it. He was just getting to know his father again after they'd been estranged for several years. The dad had remarried and he just couldn't accept that. When the dad moved back to this area, they began to get along again and they were just really beginning to "bond"...so I think that would be the worst Christmas at least for him and his family. How can any other Christmas be a joyous one again...sad.

Wow! i can definitely not top that! A lot of the other people who answered are right though! You and your 4 year old are still alive! I know this is probably not a good time, but maybe God is trying to tell you that possessions are not everything. The Bible says to store treasures in Heaven, not worldly possessions. Happy New Year. And we should always celebrate Christ birth! Hope tom. is better!

I am SO sorry! I had a bad one once. My mom's brother had a heart attack and died on Christmas Eve. He was bringing gifts in and putting them under the tree. That was a pretty sad Christmas. Hope your New Year's is better.

My mom-in-law passed away a month before Christmas. It was tough because it's my baby boy first Christmas and she wasn't able to see him open his presents. We also found the gifts she bought us for Christmas when we had to get her things moved out of her house.

Did you report all of this to the police. Have you got house content insurance. if so, you could claim all the items that have been stolen off your policy. I wished I was better off with lots of money I would of helped you.
