America is a sinking ship, it is kind of like the Titanic, people are unaware that it has hit an iceberg and is slowly going down into the abyss. The Americans continue to drink their cocktails and act as if nothing is happening. So No, you should not remain confident in the potential of the American people as the sinking is a slow sink, but when the water starts to pour in you will see the panic.

It is best to direct your anger at their politicians because most God fearing Americans are just like us with their desire for peace. It is always the politicians who start wars. I find it hard to believe even now how Blair and his nodding puppets nonchalantly took us to war without any discussion first in Parliament. It was an illegal war too and against the wishes of most UK citizens.

What do you mean when you say: should we REMAIN confident?

Have we ever been?

Are we talking about the wonderful powers of the American people or about the miserable show of their actual leaders, the clowns at the White House?
