Hi guys. I am 13 and I am not circumsized. Until now i didnt know that my foreskin was supposed to pull back over my glans. when i tried this when i wasnt erect, it pulled back halfway but on one side it seemed that it was attached to the glans somehow. when i touch the glans its very sensitive. i also noticed that when i pull the foreskin back halfway, there are some dots around it, is this normal?

i read around and i read about people having to get circumcisions and diseases like phimosis and stuff, and im freaking out because i dont wanna have to get circumcised or get surgery and im too embarrassed to talk to someone about it

so is there a way for me to fix this

plz help thanks

what about the bumps that i saw when i pulled the foreskin back? (the bumps are on the foreskin not the glans)

it was on the part that was always curled up and stuff

and is it normal that there is something connecting the glans to the foreskin?

whats the little thing connecting the glans to the foreskin? should this be there?

and the little dots on the foreskin are there because of the moistness?

I wrote an answer but it was too long I guess?
You shouldn't need circumcision, which takes months to recover from. Stretching is the best option.:-
STRETCHING TECHNIQUE ONE
If the foreskin is very tight the simplest method is to pull back on the skin (easiest with an erection) so that the opening feels tight and a bit uncomfortable without real pain. Hold that for a few minutes and repeat a few times. Do this a couple of times a day. You will find that soaking in a warm bath will make the skin softer and easier to stretch.
The major disadvantage with this method occurs when some stretching has been achieved or if the phimosis was mild to begin with. Once the opening is big enough to just fit over the rim of the glans when erect the foreskin is at risk of getting stuck behind it. If this happens a condition know as paraphimosis may develop.
This is why stretching technique two is probably better once the foreskin opening is big enough to make it almost possible to slide the foreskin back over the glans.
STRETCHING TECHNIQUE TWO
The second stretching technique can be best illustrated by this photograph http://www.foreskin.org/46-33-03.jpg. You can either grab each side of the foreskin opening and gently pull on each side of the opening, as shown in the photograph or, even better, insert the ends of two fingers, even the little fingers and pull them gently apart. Stretch the opening in this way until it feels uncomfortably stretched but not actually painful. Hold and repeat as for method one. Once again this is best done after soaking in a warm bath
PROBLEMS?
If the opening becomes sore, or develops splits, stop for a few days and let things heal up. Going at it too fast will only slow things down in the end. Sometimes splits and tightness are due to a fungal or yeast (thrush) infection. Treatment with an antifungal / anti-yeast cream designed for women’s genitals will usually fix this problem. I’ve also seen reports of success with a Hydrocortisone / anti-fungicide mix like “Fungocort”.

PARAPHIMOSIS
Paraphimosis occurs when the foreskin gets stuck behind the glans of an erect penis, trapping the blood that causes the erection in the glans and causing swelling of the foreskin itself. If the foreskin becomes stuck squeeze the head of the penis firmly to force the blood out and try and ease the foreskin forward. Perhaps soaking in the bath or using an oil-based lotion will make this easier. If after many tries you still can’t do this see a doctor or go to a hospital emergency room fast. This is not a common problem but you should be warned of the danger.

It varies - some boys can retract their foreskin by the age of 3, some boys are never able to retract their foreskin. I would guess most can retract by the time they are 10, but it's not uncommon for boys not to be able to retract until their late teens, especially if they do not know that it's supposed to retract so never try to pull the skin back. As you have now tried to pull your foreskin back but not succeeded, it seems that your foreskin is tight, so it will need regular stretching exercises to get it to go back fully without any pain or discomfort. You should start trying to pull it back at every opportunity, when peeing, showering or mastubating. Don't pull back so hard that it hurts. If you tear the skin it will heal up tighter than before, making the problem worse. If there is no improvement by the time you are 17 or 18 you might need to see a doctor, but until then, enjoy doing the foreskin stretching excercises.

there are things called perles that some boys(men) have that surround the glans..this is normal and in no way a problem...they are usually seen on uncirc'd guys because they rub off if the have friction with clothes
yes, the foreskin can be attached to the glans...this is a remnant of a scar or irritation that occurred at some point in time and when the scars healed, the skin adhered together making a bond (like a cut heals together)
if you are having a problem now with the foreskin and your penis is not erect the scar could cause you trouble with retracting the foreskin and you may not have pleasurable masturbation or sex next week
phimosis is not a disease, but a condition...it is where the opening to the foreskin is too small to allow the glans to freely move in and out during intercourse or masturbation...easily cured, but not at home...
sorry young man, but you need to see someone to have this scar addressed...tell your mum that you have something personal to talk to your doctor about and let him/her help you out...it simply means that you have to have a small injection of numbing medicine and the scar is opened and the tissues separated...you then have to keep your foreskin retracted for 5-7 days while the skin heals (but not together) and you are good to go
good luck

Your glans is very sensitive because it is always covered up it is not desensitized by rubbing on your clothing all of the time. The dots on your foreskin are your glands that keep your skin moist down there. You should gently pull back your foreskin to stretch it every day and also rinse it with water do not use soap in there. Have your parents take you to the doctor it's perfectly normal for the foreskin to stick sometimes the doctor can give you a hormone cream to put on it which will make it "let go".

relax. there is nothign wrong with your foreskin or your penis. You don't need to get circumcised or anything nasty.

Basically when you are born, your foreskin is kind of adhered/glued to the head/glans. As you grow up and play with yoru penis, there is a tendency to try to retract the foreskin a little and peek under. Since the adhesion prevents full retraction, you typically only pull it back a little bit. But by doing this repeatedly you gradually cause the adhesions to break down over time. Eventually (sometimes as early as age 5 or 6 but sometimes not until mid teens) your foreskin will retract fully once all the adhesion has borken down. Never force the foreskin back though since that can cause damage to the foreskin and/or the glans. It is just a slow process that will happen.

Also, a glans that is not used ot being exposed for peeing and cleaning and the like is very sensitive. However once you can retract fully and do so to wash, masturbate, etc. the super-sensitivity will diminish.

So, relax, feel free to play with yourself, masturbate regularly and make sure you retract as much as you can in the shower each day to allow the flow of water to keep you clean.

What you are describing is perfectly normal,
I'm glad (searcher ) gave you an answer ,saved me a lot of typing.Your adhesions will disperse in time and you will get full retraction the tightest part of foreskin is the ridged band, right at the tip if you have some retraction when soft then phimosis
is not going to be a problem.Practice every day and within a few years you will be there. The skin on underside is the frenulum
attached to glans.Your find the true benefit of this when you older.

It sounds like you are normal. You should start GENTLY pulling back the foreskin and maybe stretching it a bit. Go to a doctor if you are worried. You do not need to be circumcised, and if any doctor suggests it, get a second opinion, as only doctors who are rabidly and irrationally pro-circumcision would suggest any such thing. (Not all doctors are equally competent, alas.) Don't be embarrassed. ANY doctor has examimed thousands of penises (except a gynecologist, maybe, and even they see plenty during internships and residency), and you don't have anything he/she hasn't seen before!

Don't let the wierdos scare you. They want to treat everything from dandruff to ingrown toenails by circumcision. There is no reason for you to undergo that hideous procedure. Time will take care of your situation with a little help from you. But do start gently pulling the foreskin back for the sake of cleanliness.

Seems from what you describe that you already have phimosis. Phimosis is cured with circumcision, and by no other way.

Foreskin streaching is not really useful and does not work in all cases.
Even if it works, the phimosis will come back after some time (personal experience)

The best, definitive and most sensible solution is circumcision.

Now some info on circumcision, keep reading...

CIRCUMCISION IS VERY BENEFICIAL, its cleaner, healthier and several prestigious research institutions have proved that circumcised men have less risk of contracting STD's such as AIDS-HIV, syphilis or herpes.

Uncircumcised penises are difficult to keep clean, and more prone to infections and penile cancer, studies have shown.
A circumcised penis is naturally clean and virtually free from urinary infections. You will not have to worry again with careful washing of your penis.

Is it NOT true that the AAP (American Academy of Paediatrics) does not recommend circumcision. They simply say they leave the decision to parents. But recently, and specially after the recent studies by the US National Institutes of Health, the AAP has been discussing if it may be necessary to change their policy and recommend circumcision to all newborns as they used to do, so in the future we may see that the AAP advocates circumcision again.
Have a look at: http://www.baby-health.net/articles/381.html

About STD's:

As I said, several studies carried out by prestigious research bodies have proved that uncircumcised penises are more prone to infections and contraction of STD's, including AIDS-HIV. It has been confirmed that circumcised men are up to 70% less likely to be infected than those who are uncircumcised. Have a look at this site: http://www.torontodailynews.com/index.php/HealthNews/2006121404Circumcision

As for women, studies also show that circumcision also protects female partners from AIDS-HIV and other STD's. Browse this article: http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/Press_releases/2006/02_08_06.html

About sensitivity of a circumcised penis:

NO medical or physiological study has ever shown that circumcision reduces sensitivity, opposed to common belief. It is completely FALSE that circumcision reduces penis sensitivity. The American Academy of Paediatrics (AAP) confirms this on their web site; have a look at: http://www.aap.org/pubed/zzzjzmemh4c.htm

Circumcision is an easy and nowadays *painless* procedure, which has many benefits, and virtually no risks.
Circumcision is NOT an amputation. Circumcision is NOT comparable at all to female circumcision, which is something completely different.

Circumcision rates are INCREASING nowadays, both in the United States and overseas. Many African, Asian and Latin American countries with little circumcision tradition are starting to promote the procedure to help to reduce the AIDS-HIV infection rates.

Finally, this site has a lot of useful and *unbiased* information. Make sure you have a good look: http://www.circinfo.net

Some men just have this problem. Usually it's solved by circumcision. Don't be afraid, go to the doctor.

By the way, what kind of negligent parents do you have? They should have told you when you first started taking baths by yourself that you HAVE to retract the foreskin to be clean. If they didn't want to put in the extra work they should have had you clipped from the get go.
