By TOTAL mistake... I washed my husbands color clothing with hot water, so.. the color faded away. Is there a trick or something I can add to make them look the way they used to?

Dye might help. The better trick is not to let it fade in the first place, by using cold water, no bleach, putting it through inside out, and letting it dry in the dark.

The color is pretty much and you out of luck. You can use dye and make then richer again but that will fade with time as well.
Lesson learned. Been there done that !! : )

You could try dyeing them with something like Rit Dye, but it's tricky. You could get streaks and it fades easily. Follow the directions carefully.
Otherwise, consult a professional dry cleaners.
