your question could go to both northerners and southerners,there are people in both areas that have no sense of humour,i've met people from london and scotland and leeds and even kent all with no sense of humour.and about the geordies there is nothing wrong with them they have a great set of words they use.

i'm not a geordie (yorkshire) but i sooner go for a night out up there than in london. Newcastle is the best night out in the country. why don't you come up north for a night out and learn to have a laugh instead of being so pretentious.

I'm not a Geordie but I'm from the north west and we laugh at you southerners, for just being south of cumbria, which is actually gods county, and when you look at the country you are at the BOTTOM as in bum, as in arseholes........
