A friend told me that way back when, some guy shipped his entire house to another location using the US Postal Service, and that the USPS had to do it because they didn't have a law making it illegal. I was just wondering if it was really a law or not.

I smell an urban myth. The postal service does have size and weight regulations. Perhaps if you disassembled your home, packaged it appropriately, and sent everything, then yes it could be done.

I don't know why not. If you can get it into boxes and can pay for it, I can't imagine why. If I was the USPS or FEDEX I'd jump at the chance of making a bundle of money.

However, the size of the package may be the problem. They may not want to ship a roof...

You pay and you ask them to pick it up...

Try rush shipping on it...
