Hmmm probaly Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Sure they are great, but black people had been doing for years what they did. Elvis is overrated too. He stole from the blacks, yet again.
And Hendrix is most defintely not overated and he did not steal what he knows from Pete Townsend. Hendrix learned from B. B. King and made up some of his own stuff. And im pretty sure Pete has never burned a guitar either...

jimi hendrix is the most overated. don't get me wrong he was a good guitar player but his timing stunk. he often got lost in the middle of what he was doing. his whole sound he copied from pete townsend. even the burning guitar thing was copied from pete.

I don't really have an opinion on this. I just want to say that Elvis, a.k.a. The King, IS NOT OVERRATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
