What people in our society today who are classified as "celebrities" are the most generous to others?

Before this question can be answered, one must first determine what percentage of the celebrity's income is being given to charity. While many have answered Bill Gates, he may not be actually giving as much as those who have far less to give. All of Gates contributions to charity come from his foundation. The world’s second richest man Warren Buffett donated around $37bn of his personal fortune (85% !!!) to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. So, consider that money which seemingly comes from Gates is not his actual "personal fortune".
While Gates is up at the top of the list in actual donations, many other celebrities (Oprah, Streisand, Trump, Douglas, Geffen) are very active in charity functions and some have far less of a fortunte to give than Gates.
Just as the story in the Bible of the woman who gave a penny, but gave far more than the others because it was all she had.. My vote goes to Warren Buffet.

As far as im concerned, I think that Oprah Winfrey and Bill Gates are the most generous of all famous celebrities.
