Don't buy ProActive-it SUCKS.

Start drinking lots of water. Lots and lots of water.
Try supplementing the diet with Evening Primrose Oil -vitamin counter. Use Witch Hazel after working out/sweating-very inexpensive find it near the hydrogen peroxide at Wal mart.

If you get zits that never come to a head-it is probably hormonal and I would wait it out or see a dermatologist. Don't pick @ those ones.

I know it sounds crazy, but I have used toothpaste on individual pimples when I sleep. It dries them up!

You may be making it worse by over cleansing. Use a mild cleanser and your fingertips. (wash cloths can break the skin and cause further infection) Use warm, not hot water and rinse very well. Don't use harsh astringents or toners. A light application of salicylic acid (acne cream) is good but keep it light. More won't clear it up any faster, it will just dry out your skin making it red and itchy and cost you more to buy refill bottles.

I use Pro Activ. It has helped me a lot, but don't expect it to work as good as the commercials make it look. I used to have a major acne problem, but since i started using pro activ about a year ago, my acne is pretty controlable with only minor breakouts. Though it is not a cure, i would recommend it.

Pro-Active works. It's a bit pricy but works miracles. I tried it for a week and I could already see results. And good results at that.
