Hi,Syelark,
I take an early morning walk down to the local village. In between the chimes of the church bell every fifteen minutes, I listen to the birdsong, and try and locate the source of the song through binoculars. There are always a couple of horses there who like some company and the odd carrot or apple. I sit on a ricketty bridge for a while and race twigs and leaves downstream. This is the most precious half an hour of my week. I am at peace. Nobody walks with me but God. I think. No, I believe.
Is that the sort of thing you're looking for?
A happy and peaceful new year to you.

Just being around kids and hearing them laugh and being just truly happy while playing in their own world. Makes me remember hwen I was a child without a care in the world. Being with my family, cooking with my mom & sisters. camping with my family. Holding hands or cuddling with my boyfriend. Breathing fresh air after a nice snow or rain. Snow angels, just not having to think of anything else except that moment.

Oh the list could go on and on- but first, I would like to thank you for asking!
Hearing little kids laugh, Christmas lights, hearing the snow crunch under my feet when I walk my dog, massages, my cat snuggling with me in the morning, spooning with my boyfriend, sunsets, drinks with friends, not having to cook dinner-or do the dishes, good house music, the Far Side, a new hair cut/style, driving (in good weather) new shoes, an unexpected phone call...off the top of my head, that's what I can come up with.
Again, thanks for asking- just that made me happy! :)

any gesture made by one person toward another for no apparent reason that is kind and helpful

it makes me so happy to see such things...like have you seen the liberty mutual commercial? thats what im talking about.

when stranger try to help out each other it shows me some more good in this world another reason to believe that there is hope and really i believe in the quote by Anne Frank that "despite all that has happened, i still believe that people are truly good at heart"
if in her time she could have said that then who am i to doubt it, especially when i see things like this that fill me with immense undescribable joy.

Sunshine & light evenings. I really hate the runup to Christmas as its so dark & miserable. Once it starts getting lighter again I cheer up & start to appreciate the wonders of nature. Try putting food out in your garden (if you have one) to encourage birds & squirrels (if you don't object to them). Then you will have something interesting to look at through your window at breakfast time. Exercise can improve your mood, so try cycling or walking rather than using the bus or car. This helps me anyway

if we were happy, we would run out of motivation, if we've truly ran out of motivation, then we're deppressed. eveveryone needs some sort of motivation or somthing to live for, can be loads of things, money harmony peaece good job a bird a decent meal. i think to be truly happy you need to no what its like to be really unhappy, as a wise uncle told me you don't miss the water until the water runs dry and a wise dad said it'll be dry all your life. so just get something you want your self and work for it x

Happiness is a by product. My happiness or joy comes from my relationship with God. Knowing that am loved unconditionally gives me a sense of love and belonging that l have never felt with people.

What makes me happy is my children they are just toddlers, so they learn something new everyday. They always make me laugh. I know every mother or father says the same old thing but unless you have children you will never know the feelings.
