Are their different patterns or math equations that are easy to follow.
Any tricks for an experienced pianist would be appreciated. I have played by ear for 20 yrs.

Get "Slonimsky's Thesaurus of Scales."
There are hundreds of odd tetrachords that will not only stretch your technique, but your ear as well.
Transcribe solos of the greats: Coltrane, Bird, Evans, Tatum (if you can keep up!) and learn them yourself. Practice them in all twelve keys.

keep practing dont worry youll get alot better from practing! after all "practice makes perfect"


also math equastions are for dodo's so dont bother with math
